We have found that this salt chlorinator is easy to use because of its soft-touch push-button operation and LED display. We have steadily relied on these salt chlorinators because it accurately gives salt-level readings, has multiple boost cycles and operates in temperatures up to 104 degrees.

The AutoPilot Salt Chlorinator produces more purifier output than any other unit - up to 2lbs./day. You can use this to treat up to 42,100 gallons of water, using a patented bypass manifold for optimum chlorine production.

This pre-assembled unit inside the Autopilot Salt Chlorinator controls the flow of water delivered to the salt cell and chlorinate the water optimally. This Bypass Manifold contains:

Chlorine Production Cell. Using the salt in the water, this cell produces 100% pure Sodium Hypochlorite (the chlorine for your pool) and flows the chlorine into your pool water.
Tri-sensor. Measures flow, salt level and cold water temperature.
The inline strainer protects the Tri-Sensor and Chlorine Production Cell from dirt. Also installed in a very accessible location for easy cleaning.
Check Valve. Lets the water flowing faster than 20 gallons per minute to bypass the production cell and optimize chlorine production.
